To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure. I read somewhere that the Eiffel Tower itself can be photographed but that it owns the copyright to the lights. That would suggest that almost all pictures taken of it at night would be a copyright infringement. I’m not sure if that’s the case, though. As so many people snap it, you’d think there’d be millions of lawsuits, and yet there aren’t. It could be that the copyright exists more to prevent companies from using the Eiffel Tower in ads rather than to stop ordinary people from sharing photos on social media. If it does turn out that I can’t share this photo of the Eiffel Tower, though, I guess I’ll just Photoshop it out or something
