Thanks for introducing me to these photographers. It was a very interesting read. I imagine the photos back then must have taken ages to take.

The first photo caught my eye. Funnily enough, I once lived in the 19th arrondissement, right next to the 20th. It looks completely different today. All the slums have been replaced by Haussmannian buildings and state housing. The whole area must have undergone modernisation not that long afterwards.
