Hmmm I guess it depends on what we mean by 'comeback'. If we're referring to an urban revival, I can't see this particular town becoming repopulated and roaring back to life. The most obvious issue is the lack of job opportunities: besides a bookstore and a pop-up marketplace, there didn't seem to be any businesses around. So unless you can work remotely, it's not an obvious place to move to for work. Especially when you consider that Paris is less than an hour away.
Another issue is noise: the sound of planes taking off every two minutes isn't that pleasant, and while you could tune them out, it begs the question why you would move there when you can literally move anywhere else.
Another issue is housing. A lot of the buildings are literally falling apart. While you could move into one of the well-maintained houses, you'd then face the issue of being on your own. While there are people living there, I wonder if they like the peace and tranquility. But I think that most people would find the lack of neighbours and the huge number of dilapidated buildings quite creepy and disquieting. The only way to resolve that would be for thousands of people to move in at once, but that's kind of the problem: the people who could resolve the issue of creepy abandoned buildings wouldn't want to move in because they find the abandoned buildings creepy.
Just my two cents anyway
