Haha that’s hilarious. In my admittedly limited experience of living in France, sometimes I feel that French people can be way too negative for their own good. I realise that video just shows politicians in opposition whose job it is to criticise, but everything they said is basically what I’ve been hearing from others. And how wrong did everyone turn out to be. Looking back, I can barely begin to imagine how much stress the organisers were under. French people can be so critical about everything, but probably no one can put on a show like France can. I sometimes wonder if the negativity is hindrance or whether it’s a blessing in disguise, because it means that people have to work harder to prove the negativity wrong. In contrast, where I’m from, people are probably too optimistic for their own good
