Funnily enough, I saw the Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós in Paris last night. At one point, the singer Jónsi addressed the crowd (in Icelandic, funnily enough), but sadly he didn't speak on inhales and exhales, as you had described. Perhaps that's just him, or perhaps he just was out of breath after singing for two hours
